I wanted to do cloth diapers. I really really did. With my first two children we were living on a sailboat in Florida. I just didn't have the space for clean and dirty diapers, and doing laundry was quite a chore. I also had 2 in diapers at the same time.
With our third child I once again wanted to, but we live in an apartment and the laundry room situation could be better. There's been many occasions where I've wanted to do laundry and couldn't get a turn in there. Imagine that happening when I really needed to wash diapers. A trip to the laundry mat wasn't an option.
I swear, if we for some crazy reason, decide to have another child, I am cloth diapering!

I did disposables with my first two, but I am using cloth now with my third baby. I love it! I am looking into learning how to make them myself.

what type of clothe diapers are you using now?
I've always made mine, but i am wondering if the store bought are more absorbant. i do like the store bought covers. we also use the wool ones but they don't seem to protect as well.

I began with disposables but now am a full-blown cloth loving momma! I love it so much I have become a partner in a company that one of my dear friends started in Rochester New York called luvaboos. I now do free classes in the how to and why to cloth diaper, check out our site at luvaboos.com. In the FAQ section of the sight there are answers to a lot of the previously posted questions and concerns.
